How Synchro Started
Welcome to Synchro Wire & Fab, an elite commercial concrete accessories manufacturer. We are dedicated to making commercial concrete flatwork and deep trench foundations faster, stronger, and more profitable.
Our journey in Carbon, Alberta, began when we recognized a massive problem in the construction industry: skilled crews were wasting countless hours hunched over in muddy trenches, measuring gaps, and hand-twisting tie-wire in the cold. We asked ourselves, "Why pay for slow field labour when you can drop in factory precision?". And just like that, Synchro's specialized line of zero-tie steel concrete chairs was born.
While we started as a versatile job shop, we quickly realized that our true calling was solving the biggest headaches for flatwork contractors. By pivoting entirely to concrete flooring accessories, we transformed into a specialized product line manufacturer. Today, Brandon, Darius, and the team manufacture every single steel chair using high-speed automated 3D CNC technology right here in Carbon.
Our heavy-duty steel chairs keep your rebar perfectly spaced and suspended before, during, and after the pour. Unlike cheap plastic cones that shatter in freezing prairie temperatures, our chairs are bent from heavy-gauge carbon steel with a 4,850 lbs breaking force. Furthermore, we use 100% certified Canadian steel and provide full Mill Test Reports (MTR) for commercial compliance.

- True Freeze-Thaw Protection: Thick plastic chairs block wet concrete, leaving hidden air voids that fill with water and crack the slab from the inside out when it freezes. Our thin steel wire allows concrete to encapsulate it completely. Steel expands and shrinks at the exact same rate as your concrete, giving you ultimate freeze-thaw insurance.
